(More customer reviews)I purchased this digital thermostat to replace a Honeywell that failed after only 8 months. (I'd never buy another Honeywell after my experience with their poor customer service.)
This LuxPro thermostat was easy to install and had no moving parts that can fail. It comes with the required two AA batteries and easy to follow instructions. I like the fact that it has an ON/OFF switch to ensure it can't come on unless you want it to. Plus, a programmable high limit temperature can be programmed so it acts as a fail safe so it won't heat beyond that set point. (The Honeywell failed and my garage heater could have caused a fire being it kept the heater running even though the garage was well over 100F!)
I highly recommend this for your garage heater installation.
