(More customer reviews)This item is not made by Honeywell. However it is a replacement for the Honeywell igniter I needed. (package says "Universal Smart-lite igniter kit" and shows the ones it will replace) In some ways I like it better than the OEM part. For example this one is made from silicon nitride which has some amazing strengths and should outlast the OEM part. (silicon nitride is so durable and heat capable it is the only material NASA uses for bearings in the space shuttle main engine liquid oxygen pumps.) And unlike the OEM part which is very sensitive to "oily hands" which can cause them to burn up, this one has no problems with oily hands or even using detergents on it. (I still would not recommended doing that) And it will not oxidize like the OEM part did. I installed it and the furnace has been firing up just fine ever since. I am happy with the purchase.
