(More customer reviews)Just bought this on sale from a Value Home Center for $299. Saw it on display and fell in love. Bought the oak finish (comes in 4 wood finishes). Simple remote control is a great feature, unit puts out nice quiet heat, and their simulated flame is the best I've seen to a real flame. Woodwork of mantel is excellent, setup is SO easy. Only thing that I would rather have would be if remote control had separate on/off controls for heater and flame; as is, the remote controls main power only so you have to get up and go shut off heater switch if you want to keep flame on by itself. Flame itself creates great ambience. Will have to teach the wife how to flip that switch for me :)
