(More customer reviews)I got this because we heat our apartment with a portable space heater and I didn't want it to run all night but I wanted our place warmed up in the morning. With this I was able to set the time so that it turned off when we went to bed and turned on an hour before we got up. Since it is on a 24 hour cycle I even had it turn off during the day while we were at work and then turn on before we got home. I saved enough money the first month to pay back what I spent on this item. Great!
