(More customer reviews)This is not rocket science. After a heavy rain or accumulating snowfall you need to get the water off of the pool cover. While 350 GPH may sound impressive it's not. This product does get the job done but SLOWLY. Keep in mind it is a cover pump NOT a heavy duty pump to drain the pool. Actually I did initially use it to drain my 13,000 gallon above ground pool but it took 4 days. This is not a criticism, it's a pool cover pump not intended for this purpose. It will remove the water from the cover but you have to keep moving it around to suck up the pockets of water. I found the best way is to place a few small rocks at various points on the cover. This causes the pockets of water to accumulate at the low spots where you can quickly remove the water. It's a little work & time consuming but it gets the job done. Recommended and the price is right.
