(More customer reviews)Bought this product a little over a year ago because we love to eat outdoors but didn't want to have to bundle up as the sun started to go down earlier and earlier in the fall. The reason we chose the portable model is that we've got a weekend cottage that we use thru the end of October. Well, the Heat-N-Go has worked beautifully for us. We've now used it for 2+ heating seasons (fall 2007, spring 2008, and so far this fall) and have used it enough to go thru a full 17lb LP tank. Through all that usage it has never failed to light on the first push of the built-in igniter. It provides a very comfortable circle of heat and seems to be quite efficient in terms of LP use. We probably have gotten more than 20 hours of use from that first tank.
The assembly and disassembly felt a bit awkward the first few times but once I had done it a few times and was familiar enough with the parts and the process to no longer need the manual, it became easy to do and only takes 2 - 3 minutes. The included carrying bag is very cleverly designed with pockets and velcro straps so that all the components have a secure spot with no rattling or damage in transit.
We highly recommend this product.
