Am happy with it as it does what it is advertised to do i.e the infrared heating of the room is excellent warming the ambient air wall to wall, floor to ceiling as advertised. No dead spots or hot spots. However, the thermostat control does NOT record ambient temperature accurately. I had to mathematically compute the difference in ambient room temperature to the cut-off digital temperature of the heater. Through experimentation I determined that there is a 5-6 degree difference so that in order to warm the room to 70 degrees I have to set the heater thermostatic temperature to 64-65 degrees! When I called to complain and finally got someone on the phone, I was informed that I would have to purchase some instrument for around $10 that would be sent to me to reset the internal thermostat of the heater to match the ambient room temp. I refused and decided I would live with the problem. I would also say that the manufacturer was very unresponsive to my calls and emails until I threatened to send the heater back under warranty. I came very close to doing that but the heater is so efficient, I decided not to. I can say that the wood finish (Oak)is very good and the quality of the heater other than that one glitch is the way to go if you want uniform heating of a room. One last comment: I don't believe the heater is as energy efficient as is claimed, but am waiting to check my electric bills after the fall and winter season have concluded.
