(More customer reviews)The thermostat quit working on one of our upstairs electric baseboard heaters and I discovered that you can't just buy a regular low voltage wall replacement furnace thermostat. 220 volts goes through this thing so you have to be careful to turn off the circuit breaker to it and replace it with a good quality thermostat that is meant for this type of heater. This one is good quality and a bargain price here. It works great and has a built in thermometer that shows you the current room temperature. It is only used for a reference, not a "set point". But it is nice to have since the original one didn't have one.
